What is Lost Lands?

Lost Lands is the world's largest bass music festival, founded and curated by Excision. The 2026 edition is the festival's 9th annual event, held at Legend Valley, a 230-acre outdoor concert venue and campground in Thornville, Ohio.

The festival is famous for its prehistoric dinosaur theme, custom stage designs, more than 1,000,000 watts of bass, and one of the strongest dubstep and bass lineups anywhere in the world. Music runs late into the night with official after-hours programming, and the camping-first format gives it a strong community atmosphere.

How does early entry work at Lost Lands 2026?

The festival officially runs Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, but Early Entry add-ons extend the weekend by up to three days. Tuesday Evening Early Entry opens the campgrounds at 7:00 PM on September 15, Wednesday Early Entry adds two days of camping with music starting in the early afternoon, and Thursday Early Entry includes the beloved pre-party on The Prehistoric Stage and the 360° Crater Stage on September 17.

Tuesday and Wednesday Early Entry passes already include Thursday entry and the pre-party, so you never need to buy both. Even non-campers need an Early Entry pass to access the pre-party and campgrounds before Friday.

What is camping like at Legend Valley?

Legend Valley is a purpose-built festival campground: campgrounds stay open 24 hours a day throughout the weekend, box offices operate at every camping entrance, and the venue sits directly beside the festival grounds so you can walk between your campsite and the stages.

The campgrounds open Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 PM ET for Tuesday Evening Early Entry pass holders. Cars arriving before then are turned away, so plan your drive accordingly.
